I’m a software engineer based in Cambridge, MA. I’ve spent the last seven years building data tooling and pipelines that other engineers actually adopt. The visualization layer I worked on is used by more than fifty internal product teams, and it shaped how I think about turning raw data into interfaces people can reason with. More recently I’ve been automating frontend development with AI, writing skills and workflow automation that make developers faster at the work they do every day.

What holds my attention right now is how AI is working its way into ecommerce, and how to prepare merchants to navigate that shift. I’m interested in the psychology of shopping agents: how they weigh price against ratings, which signals they over-trust, how position and phrasing bend their choices, and what it means that a growing share of purchase decisions are made by something that never sees a storefront the way a person does.

I’m especially excited about the Universal Commerce Protocol. Once merchants stop optimizing storefronts for people and start publishing catalogs for machines, most of the accumulated wisdom about selling online stops applying, and a lot of interesting problems open up. I don’t think that shift is priced in yet.
